My Journey

Ten years of product work across enterprise tech, analytics, and a startup I built from scratch. No PM title — yet. Here's what I actually did.

2023 — Present

Express Scripts Canada

Business Analyst

  • I joined Express Scripts Canada as a Business Analyst and ended up designing and shipping a product.
  • I designed a custom web application with embedded dashboards and service principal authentication that kept all PII within Canada. I built the mockups, defined the architecture, wrote the functional specs, ran UAT, and worked directly with developers on UI implementation.
  • Shipped to production Q1 2026. Projected revenue: USD ~$100K/quarter across 5–6 enterprise clients by end of 2026.
  • I also manage Oracle Analytics Server dashboards for 10+ insurance carriers across Pharmacy, Dental, and Extended Healthcare — 50+ reports and 30+ enhancements that replaced manual daily SQL reports previously run by internal teams. Carriers now run these themselves.
2021 — 2022

MoneTask Labs

Founder & Product Lead

  • I quit my job to build a productivity app for chronic procrastinators — a problem I knew firsthand.
  • Over 18 months I learned Flutter, built the mobile app from scratch, built the marketing website, ran Google and YouTube Ads, recruited freelance designers, and ran beta tests with 50 users across multiple rounds.
  • MoneTask never launched. After 18 months I got stuck. I kept convincing myself it wasn't ready. It was analysis paralysis — and it cost me the ship.
  • That failure is the most useful thing that ever happened to my product thinking. Shipping is a skill entirely separate from building. I didn't have it then. I'm building it now — with Catalyst.
2018 — 2021

LatentView Analytics

Senior Business Analyst

  • I led an 8-person team delivering real-time social media intelligence to Microsoft: minute-by-minute sentiment analysis across product launches, competitor announcements, and developer conferences. I owned project delivery end-to-end — agile ceremonies, sprint planning, scope definition, client relationship, and UAT.
  • I also owned presales. I developed RFP responses, led pitch presentations as the domain expert, assisted in effort estimation and sales negotiation, and built standardised case studies used across the organization. Total revenue directly influenced: USD ~$1M.
2013 — 2016

TCS

ERP Developer

  • I built the reporting infrastructure for a global manufacturing client's Oracle ERP — GL, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash. Re-engineered enterprise modules for Alcoa, mapping data architecture across systems and building custom SQL queries for seamless backward compatibility with legacy reports.
  • Automated financial and inventory dashboards, improved SQL query runtime by ~35%, and cut report generation time by 75% — end-user wait time dropped to under one minute.
  • Zero critical issues in production across every project I owned. Awarded On-the-Spot Excellence for rapid troubleshooting during a critical system migration.
